Air Quality & Ventilation Systems Service & Installation

Central & Northern NJ - Eastern PA

Ventilation

Bone-dry, damp and sticky, loaded with dust or pet dander: poor air quality in your home can make your whole family uncomfortable. Even worse, poor ventilation doesn’t just feel bad - it can be bad for your health. Schaible’s Plumbing & Heating installs air handling systems that remove unhealthy particles from the air you breathe, including mold and bacteria. Kitchen and bathroom fans also help keep mold from your home, and whole-house fans lower the need for air conditioning. We can help you deal with seasonal discomfort as well, by installing moisture controllers such as humidifiers and dehumidifiers. Contact us to find out just how easily you can be more comfortable in your home.

Air Filtration Systems

The air you breathe should be clean. Schaible’s installs systems that filter the air to remove particles - like dust and pet dander - from your home. These systems can also reduce mold, bacteria, and other pollutants such as emissions from stoves and cleaning products. We can work with your existing air handling system or create a system customized for your needs and budget. Don't let a lack of ductwork stop you from breathing comfortable, healthful air.

We specialize in ultra-allergen reduction systems. Contact us. Don’t let another day of struggling with allergies to go by.

Fans

One of the most economical and easy ways to achieve more comfort and save money is to install a fan. Schaible’s installs every type of fan in every type of room: ceiling, within ductwork, through walls, externally or internally vented, range hoods and whole-house fans.

Kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, workroom and attic. These small powerhouses remove moisture-laden air to prevent mold and lower air conditioning costs. They also help remove common pollutants associated with everyday activities in these rooms.

Range hoods and downdraft ranges. Situated above an oven or cooktop, these appliances remove smoke, odors and heat generated from cooking. Schaible’s is experienced in every brand and level of range hood installation, from large professional-level canopy hoods to traditional wall-mounted styles. We can even retrofit your kitchen to give you an externally exhausted range hood.

Whole-house fan. Typically located in the attic, whole-house fans can substantially lower electric bills in the summer. They keep air moving throughout the entire house by drawing hot air through a grille and venting it outside. The hot air is replaced by cooler air, thus reducing the need for air conditioning.

In-ductwork fans. One of HVAC's 'economical secrets,' fans can be located within your existing ductwork to boost the efficiency of your heating and air conditioning systems. Rooms located furthest from the air handler receive lower air flow than rooms located closer to the air handler. A fan located within the ductwork to the farther-flung rooms keeps them closer to the same temperature as the rest of the house - and that saves you money since you don’t need to turn the thermostat up or down to compensate for temperature differences.

Ceiling fans. A ceiling fan is a time-honored way of achieving comfort at very low cost. What you may not know is that they keep costs lower in the winter as well, by circulating heated air from the top of the ceiling down to people-level. They do need to be properly sized to a room, though, and Schaible’s includes sizing as part of our ceiling fan installation service.
